Play Based Learning & Kids Yoga

How we incorporate play based learning into our Kids Yoga Program

Play allows children to use their imagination and creativity, it lets them express themselves. It enhances their physical, mental and emotional strength. Play shows children how to make choices and it’s an important part of their brain development.

Play is how children from an early age start to interact with the world around them.

Research has shown that play based learning is effective for toddlers and young children, this is because it allows children to learn in an experiential way with activities that are tailored to their individual needs.

We provide a play based Yoga Program for Early Childhood Centres. We design our Early Childhood Yoga Program for toddlers aged 1 to 5 years. The Yoga classes focus on having fun with Yoga poses, games and breathing techniques.

Our Early Childhood Yoga Program has an important role in promoting play based yoga, physical fitness, mindfulness and fun. Children that attend our Yoga classes are better prepared for school by having that connection with themselves and their friends.

Our aim is to have meaningful and creative experiences where children express their ideas, thoughts and emotions. Leading to more happy, calm and connected children.

Breathe & Flow Yoga Teachers are highly qualified and have Early Childhood education experience. All our Yoga classes are age appropriate for children to follow and are designed to meet children where they are using a variety of movement, mindfulness, breathing exercises and play based Yoga practices.
